Que Rico Papito, located on the lush grounds of La Costa Papito, is gorgeously set in the midst of the jungle offering spectacular appetizers, salads, entrees and much more. The bar and dining area is spacious and clean, set delightfully under a large and exquisitely constructed thatch rooftop, allowing for a relaxing, unique and satisfying dining experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options including a delicious curry chicken dish, served within a hollowed pineapple for even more flavor to a delectable red snapper entree and filet mignon. Most entrees are served with a crisp refreshing salad, which can be paired perfectly with a blend of basil and olive oil if you choose.

For pre-dinner cocktails, Que Rico Papito is the place to go. Their happy hour offers 2 for 1 drinks, and live Calypso music with a Caribbean barbeque on Thursdays. They are able to accommodate any size party, from a romantic dinner for two, to a gathering of friends. The staff is extremely friendly and ready to serve your every need.

Upon my arrival to the restaurant I was able to choose any open table I preferred. A quick greeting from the server resulted in my drink order being taken, and I opened the large menu to decide what to indulge in. I opted for the filet mignon in an onion sauce that included a salad and choice of either french fries or baked potato. An array of sauces was soon brought to the table including hot sauce, a basil and olive oil blend and many others. The salad was served quickly and was crisp, filled with fresh tomatoes, carrots, peppers and other veggies. A warm roll with butter complimented the salad along with a slice of cheese that had a unique, savory flavor. It proved to be a perfect first course.

The filet mignon dish boasted an eye pleasing presentation with the steak covered in two slices of bacon and fried onions. The colorful array of vegetables included chopped broccoli and carrots and the french fries were crisp and hot. Everything tasted delightful and the steak proved to be more than enough and the remaining had to be wrapped up to go. The meal left me feeling full and satisfied. The whole dining experience proved to be a favorable one, and I will surely return to Que Rico Papito to indulge in one of their many other dishes.
